About

Hi! I am a first year graduate student of Computer Science at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst.

As a novice, my research interests are interdisciplinary in nature and lie broadly in the areas information science, applications of AI in healthcare & clinical informatics and computational social science.

Previously, I worked at the Complex Systems Lab, IIIT - Delhi under the supervision of Prof. Ganesh Bagler. My work revolved around curating and analysing physiochemical properties of small molecules and deriving useful information from them. My interest in interdisciplinary research in CS can largely be attributed to the time I spent here during and (shortly) after my undergrad.

During my undergrad, my team (of six) won the Smart India Hackathon 2017, an annual hackathon organized by the Government of India in which more than 10,000 students participated that year. We received a monetary grant and an opportunity to work in close collaboration with the All India Council for Technical Education over a period of six months.

My favorite pastimes are eating & debating. I also like to read quite a bit & travel (whenever I get the chance).
